Day 2                                                                                           Manali Dairies J After 17 hours of back-breaking journey from Delhi to Manali, we had no strength left to explore the place.  All we wanted to dive into the bed. Day 2 started at a slow pace as we woke up a bit late. While everyone was getting ready to explore the hills of Manali, I walked out of my room in my pajamas to have a look of surroundings. Sun was shining up into the sky and my dream to capture the rising sun shattered into pieces. That was disheartening. But this is the way life is. You can’t get everything you want especially when the bed is the culprit. After staring at sky and mountains, I looked down to the city of Manali which was covered in mist and that looked like a compensation for me.

Kyari.. A village in Ram Nagar, Uttrakhand After being engaged with the work, finally, I was able to get some "me" time. I was wondering where to go. I wanted a place where I could enjoy the peace and nature. I wanted to stay close to nature, wanted to feel the wilderness. While searching for a place to visit & associated research, I bumped into the place called Kyari. Kyari is a small village in Ram Nagar Distt. of Uttrakhand, situated at approx 10KM from Ram Nagar Railway Station. What drew my attention to this place was the surrounding. The village is inside the lush green jungle. The forest which surrounds the village is exterior part of Jim Corbett National Park bringing you the rich wildlife. Innocence  The day before yesterday, when I was out with my camera, looking for something to shoot, I saw her. Playing with her brother, she was like the bundle of joy, filled with innocence and cuteness. She stared at the camera for a while and turned away. Chandigarh……….. The city beautiful. After an extended holiday, I’m back with another snap taken at Chandigarh. One of interesting trips. Friend, new city, water fall and sunset. It is always interesting to see what come to your way when you go to an unplanned trip. Though the visit to Chandigarh was for some official purpose, it ended up fun filled.

Dehradun Diaries The photograph is from my recent visit of Doon, an unplanned trip. After around 7 hours long journey, it was quite relaxing to see the city from the hills. The aura was awesome. We were quite busy in our arguments when I thought of trying long exposure. It was hard to keep the camera stable as I was not carrying a tripod and somehow I manage to capture this.

In the woods.. The photograph taken in Nainital while exploring the place. It was quite raining above the hills and the mist had covered the entire scene for almost 2 hours and lake was gone missing. We were waiting for the rain to stop and then I found this under a shelter.
